Cassava

The cassava root is long and tapered, with a firm, homogeneous flesh encased in a detachable rind, about 1 mm thick, rough and brown on the outside.

Cassava, (Manihot esculenta), also called manioc, mandioca, or yuca, is a tuberous edible plant from the American tropics.

Cassava is a good source of dietary fibre as well as vitamin C, thiamin, folic acid, manganese, and potassium.
